Self Fly hire: Hour Building & Solo Hire

All Our Aircraft here at Airspace FTS are available for qualified pilots to hire for their personal use, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You can hire our aircraft anything from 20 minutes or an hour to a whole day or a couple of days! You can just use our fleet to pop up for that quick relaxing flight after work on a summer evening or head off cross country or over the channel for a trip to France. The only limit to what you can do is your own imagination. We have the aircraft, so if you have a licence they are there waiting for you to take control and let your adventures begin.

Here at Airspace FTS we can also source other aircraft on special request and we also provide an aircraft sourcing and purchasing service for Pilots wishing to acquire their own aircraft. Please ask operations for details about this if this would be of interest to you.

T-67 FIREFLY:

WHY the T-67 FIREFLY? (Click for more detail):
The T-67 Firefly is the hot ship of the fleet being an ex-military training aircraft for the UK military once based at RAF Barkston Heath providing flight training for Army, Air Force and Navy Pilots. Our Firefly G-BUUL is fully aerobatic and is the perfect aircraft to train for your aerobatic rating or to complete an unusual attitude/upset recovery training course. You can even hire the Firefly to not only practise your aerobatics but also to compete in aerobatic competitions! Apart from that its available as a standard self-fly hire aircraft if you just want to fly round in an aircraft that’s a little bit more exotic with a unique history behind it. It also looks very cool too.
